Psychiatric Clinic

RMYA offers short-term psychiatric evaluations and follow-up services for children awaiting private psychiatric care. We serve children ages 17 and younger, as well as their families.  We provide comprehensive services designed to support mental health and family well-being:

These services are provided in partnership with psychiatric residents from the University of Texas Health San Antonio Psychiatry Department. Together with RMYA’s clinicians, they conduct assessments to support children facing mental health challenges that may contribute to family instability, hospitalization, or risk of abuse. When longer-term psychiatric care is needed, families are connected with appropriate community resources through RMYA’s referral network.
