This season you can help children separated from their families for abuse. Support the therapeutic care they need to start their healing journey to a wonderful life. They need you to reignite their life dreams!
Mark came to RMYA last summer. During the holiday season he struggled with intense anger and sadness. It was discovered that his abuser had assaulted him during the holidays and threatened to kill Santa Claus if he told anyone. This trauma showed up during a typically very happy season, but for Mark, it brought back memories that triggered fear, anxiety, and a lack of self-worth. After a year of trauma‑informed care with RMYA, Mark was able to heal and move to an adoptive family.
