MeadowLand is seeking the loving support of the local community to open their homes to children who were victims of abuse and neglect, and are now prepared to experience the opportunity of living in a healthy family. Prospective Foster Families will receive training and support from experienced staff at MeadowLand, and will communicate regularly about the progress of their children. Please call Fara at (830) 816-2425 for more information or to arrange a tour of MeadowLand.
The Foster Family Program was designed to help children who have been in RMYA programs transition into a foster home, a less restrictive environment, to give them an opportunity to experience how a healthy family functions.
- The Foster Family Program will place children between 5-17
- Children experience a family like environment
- Foster Parents are adequately trained to deal with children in need
- Case Management services are provided through phone contact and regular monthly visits

It is RMYA’s policy that it does not discriminate in the manner in which it provides services or in the manner in which it screens applicants. No resident will be denied admission to the Meadows based on race, color, national origin, ethnicity, political belief, religion, gender or sexual orientation. RMYA is not able to accept children who have a serious physical handicap.
